    Working on animatic, doing animation tests.

    Testing dry pastel drawings for backgrounds.

      

    The film will be done in mixed technique.

    For the background, I will use dry pastel drawings to guard the dreamy feel of the serene, snowy night. Meanwhile, the inside of the car and the main characters are animated in TV paint with a charcoal pencil tool and colored digitally, using premade, scanned graphics made with the same dry pastel.

      

    I am very happy to work on this project already in my new studio.

    It still needs renovation and heating (!! very important with Latvian winter). But it is very empowering to work in my own studio.
